Kubuda Retreat | Hosted by Kubuda LLC at Casa Kia Ora, Costa Rica
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING DOCUMENT.
By signing below, I, the undersigned participant, voluntarily agree to attend and participate in the Kubuda retreat hosted by Kubuda LLC, taking place at Casa Kia Ora in Costa Rica. I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participating in a retreat in a foreign country, including travel to and from Costa Rica, involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to: uneven terrain, weather conditions, local transportation, insect or wildlife encounters, food sensitivities, physical activities, and limited access to medical care.
I hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in this retreat with full knowledge of the potential risks involved. I affirm that I am in reasonably good physical health and capable of safely navigating the retreat environment without medical or mobility assistance.
2. Release and Waiver of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Kubuda retreat, I hereby expressly and voluntarily waive, release, discharge, and hold harmless:
Kubuda LLC,
Casa Kia Ora,
Their owners, officers, agents, employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates,
from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever for any injury, illness, accident, loss, damage, or other mishap that may occur to me or my property during or as a result of my participation in the retreat, including but not limited to activities at the retreat location, during group excursions, meals, and travel to and from the venue.
3. Medical Authorization
I authorize Kubuda LLC and its staff to provide first aid and, if necessary, secure medical attention for me in the event of illness or injury during the retreat. I understand that I am responsible for any and all medical expenses incurred.
4. Travel Responsibility
I understand that it is my responsibility to arrange and manage my travel to and from the retreat, including flights, transfers, and passports. I acknowledge that Kubuda LLC is not responsible for any travel delays, missed connections, or other travel-related issues.
5. Photography & Media Release
I grant permission for photographs, video, or audio recordings taken of me during the retreat to be used by Kubuda LLC for promotional purposes, unless I notify the organizers in writing prior to the retreat.
6. Governing Law
This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
